The quality of the letterbox is pretty decent but there’s a few things you need to know before you opt for this letterbox. The self-aligning screws are a bit of a gimmick - more a hindrance than a help. This is mainly because there is a plastic receptacle that juts out of the internal side of the letterbox that can prevent you fitting the box flush to the door. The reason why this happens (I think) is that the letter box needs to fit to the mm the hole in the door where your letterbox should be. Rarely is it the case that all doors are uniform in this sense. To get round this I cut off the plastic bit that juts out where the screws provided are supposed to fit with a heat gun and drilled in some long screws to attach the letterbox flush to the door. Luckily there are additional holes pre-drilled into the letterbox if you wish to use this option. But you must supply your own screws.In short, the neat little video which showing an anonymous fella fitting the letterbox in a few minutes is complete fiction. My advice to the manufacturers would be to ditch the gimmicks and provide some decent screws to fit the letterbox in a conventional way.Good luck

Solid letterbox ideal for upvc doors more so than wooden although it works well on my wooden door.Don’t go too hard when using an electric screw driver as you risk it cracking take it slow. It’s so solid though no water or rain in or out

I needed this for my outdoor letterbox so I have only used the cover plate. It does exactly what I needed it to do.

A very well made letterbox, I got the black one, it's sturdy and easy to fit in my double glazed door, my Son had to shave a small part off so it snuggly fitted in space, good hinges and brushes to keep draught out. I'm so so pleased with my new letterbox. Well worth the money. Thank You.
