Works well

I bought this to replace a lock that wouldn’t operate anymore as the key broke. It was easy to fit. The most difficult problem was chiselling out part of the door frame as the old one broke in the locked position. Pleased with my purchase as it was good value.

The rotating latch wouldn’t rotate

Quality was ok but the reason I bought it was because of the rotating latch featureI had to use pliers to rotate it, wouldn’t budge by hand(like it shows in the instructions)This has then marked the brass latch and it now sticks on the forend plate so doesn’t close the door unless I fiddle the latch to unstick itProbably have to give it a file to smooth things offShouldn’t have been such a palaver
