How to Install
Tools and Materials Needed:
- Gate kit (including gate latch, T-hinges and gate spring)
- Screwdriver
- Drill (if necessary)

Instructions:
1. Remove Old Gate Hardware:
a. Open the gate fully.
b. Locate and remove the screws securing the old gate latch, hinges, and gate spring to the gate.
c. Carefully remove the old gate hardware from the gate, ensuring not to damage the surrounding wood or material.
2. Prepare the Gate:
a. Clean the area where the old hardware was installed to ensure a smooth surface for the new hardware.
b. Measure and mark the desired locations for installing the new auto gate latch, T-hinges, and gate spring.
3. Install T-Hinges:
a. Position one T-hinge on the top edge of the gate and the other on the bottom edge, aligning them with the gate post.
b. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
c. Secure the T-hinges in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
d. Ensure the hinges are level and securely attached to the gate and gate post.
4. Install Auto Gate Latch:
a. Position the auto gate latch on the gate, ensuring it aligns with the strike plate or catch on the gate post.
b. Use a pencil to mark the screw hole locations.
c. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
d. Secure the auto gate latch in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
e. Ensure the latch mechanism operates smoothly and securely.
5. Install Gate Spring:
a. Position the gate spring on the gate, aligning it with the corresponding attachment point on the gate post or fence.
b. Use a pencil to mark the screw hole locations.
c. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
d. Secure the gate spring in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
e. Adjust the tension of the gate spring as needed to ensure the gate closes smoothly and securely.
6. Final Checks:
a. Close the gate and test all installed hardware to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
b. Make any necessary adjustments to the auto gate latch, T-hinges, or gate spring to ensure smooth operation and secure closure.
c. Check for any gaps or misalignments between the gate and the gate post or fence.
d. Make any final adjustments as necessary to ensure the gate operates smoothly and securely with the new hardware installed.
7. Securely Tighten Screws:
a. Once satisfied with the placement and operation of all new gate hardware, securely tighten all screws to prevent loosening over time.
