COMPOSITION: The surface mounted rim lock is constructed from solid metal, whilst the mortice knobs and esutcheons are crafted from plastic making it perfect for a variety of applications such as gates, garages, fences, outhouses and even sheds.

How to Install
How to Install:
Remove Existing Hardware:
Unscrew and remove any old door hardware. Clean the door surface to remove debris from the previous installation.
Position the Rimlock:
Hold the rimlock against the door. If existing screw holes align with the rimlock, use them. Otherwise, fill old holes, mark new ones for the rimlock, and drill pilot holes.
Attach the Rimlock:
Align the rimlock with the screw or pilot holes. Use a screwdriver to secure it with the provided screws.
Install the Keep:
With the door closed, position the keep (where the latch goes) on the door frame, aligned with the rimlock's bolt. Mark and drill pilot holes for the keep.
Secure the Keep:
Fasten the keep to the door frame using screws.
Install Rim Knob:
This product does not include a rim knob. If using an existing knob, insert the spindle, attach the knobs on both sides, and secure tightly.
Attach Escutcheons
Position escutcheon over the keyholes. aligning with the existing screw holes (if available). If the current screw holes do not align with the escutcheon then fill the previous screw holes and then mark and drill new holes accordingly.
Secure the Escutcheons:
Insert and tighten the screws to secure the escutcheons in place.
Test the Lock:
Ensure that the lock, knob, and bolt function smoothly and align correctly with the keep.
Tip: If you encounter resistance while locking, check for any misalignment and adjust as needed.
