How to Install
Tools and Materials Needed:
- Gate kit (including gate latch, T-hinges, brenton padbolt, and discus padlock)
- Screwdriver

Instructions:
1. Remove Old Gate Hardware:
a. Open the gate fully.
b. Locate and remove the screws securing the old gate latch, hinges, padbolt, and padlock to the gate.

2. Prepare the Gate:

b. Measure and mark the desired locations for installing the new gate latch, T-hinges, brenton padbolt, and discus padlock.
3. Install T-Hinges:
a. Position one T-hinge on the top edge of the gate and the other on the bottom edge, aligning them with the gate post.
b. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
c. Secure the T-hinges in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
d. Ensure the hinges are level and securely attached to the gate and gate post.
4. Install Gate Latch:
a. Position the gate latch on the gate, ensuring it aligns with the strike plate or catch on the gate post.
b. Use a pencil to mark the screw hole locations.
c. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
d. Secure the gate latch in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
e. Ensure the latch mechanism operates smoothly and securely.
5. Install Brenton Padbolt:
a. Position the brenton padbolt on the gate, aligning it with the corresponding hole or catch on the gate post or fence.
b. Use a pencil to mark the screw hole locations.
c. If necessary, use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws.
d. Secure the brenton padbolt in place using the provided screws or screws of appropriate size.
e. Ensure the padbolt operates smoothly and securely, engaging with the gate post or fence securely when locked.
6. Install Discus Padlock:
a. Insert the discus padlock through the hole or loop on the brenton padbolt.
b. Ensure the shackle of the padlock is securely engaged with the padbolt.
c. Test the padlock to ensure it locks and unlocks smoothly.
7. Final Checks:
a. Close the gate and test all installed hardware to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
b. Make any necessary adjustments to the gate latch, hinges, padbolt, or padlock to ensure smooth operation and secure closure.
