This is ok if you need a quick solution but then you will still need to drill into a upvc frame which I really do not want to do. The mechanism might be fine for really small kids (too small to climb?) or pets but older kids might fiddle and bypass this.I would prefer a system that has a lock and key so not sure why this is going to be better than that - both need to be drilled.
