Nice bolt.

Have not used them as yet as they are a little too large for the job. Very sturdy bolt for heavy duty use. Im sure they will come in handy later.

Quality Door Bolts but needs quality screws to mount

The bolt is beautifully made and looks amazing, it is very eye catching. Mounting was fairly straightforward however the screws that came with it weren't of the same high quality as the bolt and consequently the grooves in the screw would sear until you couldn't screw it in. I did try deeper and wider pilot drilling but too wide and it wasn't firmly mounted.

Use different screws

The bolt bit seems okay, but the head of the screw sheared off just screwing into a soft pine doorframe. I used different screws instead which has worked fine.
