A nice quality knob set with a stylish brushed satin chrome finish. It comes with a generous compliment of three keys and a paper template and instruction sheet to fit with either a 60mm or 70mm offset. You'll need a hole saw to cut a 54mm hole (under a tenner on Amazon) if there's no hole there already and the mechanism can be slid to either a 60mm or 70mm "backset", that being the distance from the door edge to the centre of the hole for the knob.The strike plate and the face of the outward face of the latch are covered with protective plastic to keep them looking good until fitted. Build quality is very good albeit on a par with similarly priced sets for the most part. Unless you have a hole saw and a 25mm drill bit for the latch, or have the holes there ready for you, it may be wise to get a tradesman to do the fitting.A very nice set that looks really good and operates well.

Price at review: £15.99This is a good price for a nice and solid locking door knob. It took me a little while to get it fitted properly but the result now looks smooth although I will have to touch up some of my paintwork where the previous door handle was.The locking mechanism is what I was after and this works well.

I ordered two door handles with different designs, but both were well made and had a lovely finish to them. the mechanism works well and they come with keys and good instructions. they were very similar designs, which worked with different thickness of doors, but the only issue I found was that to keep them looking thin, much of the mechanism is embedded in the door, which required a lot of cutting to get it to fit correctly. Nice door handle though, recomended

I had just finished a long task of stripping loads of paint off of 5 reclaimed 1950s solid wood doors and waxing them with a dark wax. I have added one of those doors in the hallway to make a separate area for parcel deliveries while keeping our dog safe. I had been wondering what type of lock to put on it to stop accidental opening from couriers etc and this is perfect. The fitting was very easy, there was already provision in the door where the old handles and locks had been stripped out. I like that to lock from the inside only requires me to use the thumb turn and to gain entry from the outside when the door is locked requires the use of one of the three supplied keys. I chose the black colour as it goes well with the door and is in keeping for the style of the door too. The lock and handles feel really robust, and the action is good.
