This is a lovely looking mortice door handle. It's got some serious weight to it, so you know it's good quality and will last for many years to come. It's very easy to install if you know what you're doing, but you only need some simple tools regardless! If this is roughly the same size as your current lock, then installation will be an absolute breeze.The locking mechanism is great and works without any issues. It's obviously only for indoor use as it doesn't use a key, but it does a great job and works perfectly.Overall, I think this is a great lock and handle for a very reasonable price and would highly recommend it!

The door handles are of a rustic design and feature an embossed pattern on them giving them this look. The handles have a battered look to them but are smooth and feel solid and just adds to the rustic design. The matching hinges have the same design and come complete with screws to complete the installation. The handles are spring loaded so move and spring back into position quite smoothly. They have a bit of weight to them and feely extremely strong. The lock turns easily and smoothly with a springy click as the latch flicks into the locked position. This was a straight swap for my old door handle and took about 10 minutes to install. The handle spindle bar was too long, so needed cutting down to size, but was simple enough to do. I really like the aesthetic of these as I wasn’t sure at first but now they’re installed, I really like them. Superb quality handles and the parts are well made/finished. I’m really pleased with the look and feel of these antique look handles and was impressed with the mortise lock and inclusion of hinges for £29.99.We hadn’t realised the doors was so old until my husband starting drilling the bedroom door to fit one of their round handles. Whatever they’re made up of it was rock hard and we had toxic dust everywhere. We need to cut out a lot to fit the bathroom door too, as it doesn’t have this type of lock in already. I will update with pictures once we have the door fitted with handles and hinges.I will say you will need to alter the metal tube to the length required, depending on the thickness of your door, but we expected. My husband has no issues cutting it too size, but if you want an exact fit for your door buy the handles without the fixtures and get the appropriate length tube.
