How to Install

Fitting Instructions for Thumbprint Door Handle

Disclaimer: Do not remove the plastic from the handle until after installation.

Tools Required:
Screwdriver
38mm drill bit
Ruler or tape measure
Pencil or pen

Installation Steps:
1. Measure the Tubular Latch:
Place your tubular latch against the edge of the door.
Using a pencil or pen, mark the position of the spindle hole on the door edge.

2. Measure the Bore Hole:
From the central mark you made for the spindle hole, measure a 38mm diameter circle for the bore hole on the door face.
Ensure the center of the hole aligns with the tubular latch mark.

3. Drill the Bore Hole:
Using a 38mm drill bit, carefully drill the bore hole through the door at the marked location. Ensure the hole is clean and smooth.

4. Attach Screw Tubes to the External Handle:
Take the external handle (the side that includes the thumbprint scanner) and attach the M5 x 38mm screw tubes to it.

5. Affix the External Handle to the Door:
Insert the external handle into the bore hole you drilled. Ensure that the connection screws pass through the tubular latch mechanism for proper alignment.

6. Attach the Internal Handle:
Align the internal handle on the other side of the door, making sure it fits with the spindle and screw holes of the external handle.

7. Insert Screws into the Internal Handle:
Using a screwdriver, insert the provided screws into the internal handle, securing both the internal and external handles to the door.

8. Test the Handle:
Test the thumbprint door handle by opening and closing the door, ensuring the latch engages properly.
If necessary, make any adjustments to ensure smooth operation.

Final Note:
Once the handle has been successfully installed and tested, you may remove the protective plastic from the handle. If any issues arise during installation, consult a professional or refer to the product’s manual for further assistance.

By following these steps, you’ll have a properly installed thumbprint door handle. Always prioritize safety and ensure the handle operates smoothly before regular use.

Durable, modern, and easy to install—highly recommended for internal home or office doors.

This smart door handle impressed me with its heavy-duty build and reliable functionality. Designed for internal doors, it’s easy to install and offers both modern security features and a robust feel.⸻Key Features✔ Solid Construction – The handle is reassuringly hefty and well made, giving a premium and durable feel.✔ Secure Access – Offers fingerprint recognition and numeric code access, making it both convenient and secure for household use.✔ All-Inclusive Kit – Comes with all the necessary fittings for installation, making setup simple and straightforward.⸻Things to Note• App Required – You’ll need to install an app to use the smart features. This is fairly standard, though some might feel cautious about storing biometric data.• For Indoor Use Only – Best suited for interior doors, not external entry points.⸻Final VerdictA solid and secure smart handle that’s perfect for indoor use. With multiple access methods and a quality build, it provides peace of mind and convenience. Just be aware of the digital security considerations that come with fingerprint tech.

Modern Looking Smart Door Locking System With Plenty Of Access Options

Smart Fingerprint Door Handle in Black – Keyless Door Lock with 4 Unlocking Modes, Bluetooth & Code Access, Auto-Locking Smart Door Handle, Enhanced Security on Internal Wooden DoorsA very well constructed, heavy duty smart door lock that has various access options. This arrives well packed in branded retail packaging. The handles themselves are solidly constructed as well as looking sleek and modern, so will suit the majority of modern homes or offices. As long as you have the necessary latch already installed in your door, fitting the handles is pretty straight forward when referencing the easy to follow guide. If you don't have the correct latch (a bolt-through type) then you'll need to purchase one separately as latches aren't included in this set.Once fitted you need to download an app to use alongside the smart handle and you are given 4 methods of entry you can utilise.. finger print (up to 50 users can be stored), access code, Bluetooth access for unlimited users and 24 hour guest codes. If using this at home it's unlikely you'll need all of these options but they're all there is you do.The handles work really well and even have an auto-lock function which is very handy. The locking system is a perfect solution for keeping kids out of certain rooms at home, for offices or even rental properties who see a regular changing of guests.Everything is very simple to set up and the app can be used to keep track of how many people have entered a room etc.Batteries are required to use this but thankfully they are included and a useful alarm will alert you when they are starting to get low on power and require changing.I have a room full of collectables that wasn't previously lockable and telling grandkids to not go in the room often led to too much temptation. Now I can keep them out without resorting to an ugly padlock and use this smart looking locking device instead. As my latches were already quite modern and compatible I had no real issues with the installation.Overall I think this smart door locking system is a brilliant idea. It works flawlessly using all available locking and access options plus it looks quality too.

Good choice

A cheap but modern office lock option; it works as it should. The app helps with connecting and disconnecting, plus changing the lock code, so all is good. The only caveat is the batteries; as long as it has batteries, it is fine.

The future of door handles.

Easy to fit, slight concern over app privacy. Over all, not bad.

Easy enough to fit. Once fitted, seems to work well. My only criticism is that there is not much in the way of documentation; just a tiny folded leaflet, of instructions. Additionally, this thing is not configurable without the app being installed on your phone, and installing the app does require you to register with an email and password, which may have privacy implications for some. Try as I might I cannot see what good reason manufacturers would have for requiring this, which only leaves bad reasons. That being said, in fairness, once the app is installed it does work fine. I was easily able to set a PIN and thumbprint, and the handle took these and unlocked.I would judge this device to be more of a "low security" "internal door" type strength. Something to stop casual wanderers on an interior door. Definitely not a main exterior "keep burglars out" type device. But as these things go, I think this is an OK example of one, disregarding the app privacy concerns.
