How to Install
Choose the Installation Point:
a. Open the door and decide whether to install the concealed closer at the top or bottom of the hinge side.
b. Mark a central position on the door edge where the body of the closer will be fitted.
Use the Closer as a Guide:
a. Hold the concealed closer against the door edge to check its length and depth.
b. Mark the size of the body directly onto the door — this will guide your drilling depth and width.
Drill the Recess in the Door:
a. Carefully drill into the edge of the door, following your markings.
b. Ensure the hole is clean and deep enough for the closer to sit flush within the door edge.
Prepare the Frame for the Chain Mechanism:
a. Extend the chain from the body of the closer.
b. With the door slightly open, align the chain with the door frame and mark where it naturally reaches.
c. Drill a recess into the frame to house the chain anchor.
Fit the Closer into the Door:
a. Insert the body of the closer into the drilled hole on the door edge.
b. Secure it with the included screws, ensuring it sits flush with the door edge.
Fix the Chain to the Frame:
a. Insert the chain into the drilled frame hole.
b. Secure the chain end or anchor plate using screws, making sure it retracts smoothly when the door closes.
Test the Mechanism:
a. Open and release the door — the chain should pull the door closed automatically.
b. Check that the movement is smooth and that the door closes fully without slamming.
c. If needed, make minor adjustments to the alignment or screw positions.
