A Stylish Lock for Your Bathroom Door

For a while, our bathroom door was lacking – both in style and security. The old knob felt flimsy, and let's face it, a little privacy goes a long way. That's why I decided to upgrade to the XFORT Bello Privacy Knob Set in matte black.Easy Installation, Smooth Operation: I'm no DIY wiz, but installing this knob set was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary parts were included. Within about 30 minutes, I had a sleek new knob on the door. The look is the first thing that strikes you. The matte black finish is modern and compliments our bathroom décor perfectly. The knobs themselves have a nice weight to them, feeling solid and secure.Privacy with a Twist: The key feature, of course, is the privacy function. A simple turn of the knob from the inside locks the door, ensuring peace of mind. On the outside, there's an emergency release accessible with a coin – a thoughtful touch in case someone gets locked in accidentally.Minor Quirks, Major Satisfaction: There are a couple of things to keep in mind. The knob doesn't come with a deadbolt, so it's best suited for interior doors where additional security isn't a major concern. Also, the latch mechanism can feel a little stiff at first, but it loosened up after a few uses.Overall, I'm very happy with the XFORT Bello Privacy Knob Set. It's easy to install, looks great, and provides the perfect touch of privacy for the bathroom. For the price, it's a stylish and functional upgrade that anyone can appreciate.

Nice privacy handle/knob, easy to fit

We have a 21 month son, and he loves to open doors. It seems to be his favourite thing at the moment, so we needed a handle that was a bit harder to open, but also had a fail safe lock on it for when he worked out how to open the door... this was just for the door from the living room to the hallways/stairs.Unfortunately, the latch wasn't the same length as the previous handle, so new holes had to be drilled... but fortunately I had to tools from when I'd fit a previous combination lock for the home office. With that previous experience under my belt, it was a simple job of drilling the holes, chiselling the wood for the plates and attaching the handle... took maybe an hour from start to finish, and that was only because I was double/triple checking everything before I drilled. Now the handle is fitted I can confirm that it's relatively easy to fit, and looks great. As we had to place it higher than the previous handle, my son is a little way off being able to even reach it at the moment, let alone figuring out how to open it.There is no wobble to it at all, it turns nicely, but you have to grip it firmly to turn it (which for our needs is actually a bonus).Highly recommended.

very nice privacy doorknob for your bathroom.

I am very pleased with these door handles from xfort, installation was simple as they were a straight swap with our previous handles and should be well within the capabilities of any average DIYer with a respectable set of tools.build quality is nice and the finish on the knobs is professional and very stylish, in use they feel nice in the hand and not too loose or rattly. this set would be ideal for use in a bathroom.we have 3 of the same style with differing locking mechanisms and we're very happy with all three.

Easy to install

I like the size and finish of this door knob set. The actual knob is quite small making it easier for small hands (I'm thinking of toddlers and children). The classic gold finish has a very stylish look to it.The fitting instructions are pretty good. To install you'll need several drill bits and a hole cutter. A hole marking template is included with the instructions.I was using this set to replace a failed surface mounted lock on my son's toilet door. It took me about an hour to fit from breaking out the tools to tidying up. No complicated or quirky set up issues. This is definitely a budget set and it feels a little clunky when turning the knob although everything releases when you let go of the knob. The lock works well and the coin release on the outside ensures that access is always possible.Verdict: Knob set looks nice once fitted. Shame it feels a little cheap but if you are doing all the knobs in your house then these are good value.
