How to Install

1. Remove Old Cylinder: Insert your key into the existing cylinder and turn slightly. Unscrew the fixing screw located on the door’s edge near the cylinder. Pull the key and cylinder out together.

 

2. Measure New Cylinder: Ensure the new Euro Cylinder is the same size. Measure from the center of the screw hole to each end of the cylinder.

 

3. Insert New Cylinder: Align the new cylinder with the lock slot. Gently insert it with the key slightly turned. Ensure it’s flush with the door surface.

 

4. Secure the Cylinder: Replace the fixing screw and tighten it. This holds the cylinder in place.

 

5. Test the Lock: Turn the key in both directions to ensure smooth locking and unlocking. The key should be able to be removed in both locked and unlocked positions.

 

Tip: Do not force the key. If it doesn’t turn easily, check alignment.

nice lock,

Nice, pretty standard lock, really easy to replace, ideal if you've bought a new property or lost keys and you want to be sure no one has a key to your property. It's not standard keys, they're special security keys which hopefully give extra level of protection.

Best security lock on the market at present

This is a top piece of kit. We needed it to replace a euro lock on a pvc door and decided to go ahead with the safest option. This fits perfect and took 1 minute to install. It’s well finished and the Matt black looks great. There is 5 keys with this lock so enough for everyone in the house. You get what you pay for and this is very high quality and gives you piece of mind.

Excellent lock

Fantastic anti-snap barrel lock for a very good price. It comes with 5 keys and all that's needed to do a quick, one for one swap with our front door lock that has worn out. It looks lovely and has a very nice, high quality, matt black finish. A bargain!
