How to Install

Remove Old Cylinder: Insert your key into the existing cylinder and turn slightly. Unscrew the fixing screw located on the door’s edge near the cylinder. Pull the key and cylinder out together. 
Measure New Cylinder: Ensure the new Euro Cylinder is the same size. Measure from the center of the screw hole to each end of the cylinder. 
Insert New Cylinder: Align the new cylinder with the lock slot. Gently insert it with the key slightly turned. Ensure it’s flush with the door surface. 
Secure the Cylinder: Replace the fixing screw and tighten it. This holds the cylinder in place. 
Test the Lock: Turn the key in both directions to ensure smooth locking and unlocking. The key should be able to be removed in both locked and unlocked positions. 
Tip: Do not force the key. If it doesn’t turn easily, check alignment.

Good lock.

This lock comes in retail packaging, from the specification it seems reasonably good, but without being an expert in this field it's hard to tell, the price suggests it's the lower end of the market. These locks are now standard, the key thing is to get the correct size for your door. there are many sites on line that show you how to make sure you order the right size. Replacement is a simple job, the lock might need a bit of teasing to get it out and get the new one in, this one is black which looks great on a black door. It comes with 3 keys, I always wonder why they don't do locks with half a dozen original keys as for big households this would save having extra keys cut and would surely be much cheaper to product them at the time of manufacture. All in all great if you need to change a lock after a lost key or when you move into a new property.

Item has a very solid feel to it. It’s surprisingly heavy.Comes with the fixing screw as well as three keys.No fitting instructions and QR code takes you to a site saying “Opening Soon” so for diy look on YouTube if you don’t know what to do.I can’t find fault with the product.Fits white doors as well as black in case you need reassurance!Not BSI kite marked if it matters.Great value for money.
